Hackerhotel is always looking for interesting, funny, engaging, deepdiving technical talks, talks for beginners, talks for experts, or a combination of the aforementioned.

Think of topics like talks about pentesting, hacking for beginners, hardware hacking, ransomware (prevention or how you busted a criminal ransomware group), talks about cryptography etc.

In the past we also had talks about how to roast your own coffee using an Arduino, a love hacks talk about emotions and feelings, a bleaching workshop to modify your own clothes, kitten based security, how to develop new teaching methods, how to make custom jewelry of old PCB's, blacksmithing and how to build your own flamethrowers.

As you can see: nothing is crazy, we like a wide range of subjects. As long as it entertaining people, teaching a skill or subject etc.

If you became motivated to submit a talk, workshop or a quiz then please submit it using our awesome new PreTalx environment. We prefer talks, workshops and quizes in English, but if you feel more comfortable we accept talks in Dutch too (it will limit the audience to your talks a bit as around 20-30% of the visitors of Hackerhotel are not Dutch Natives).

We record all talks use the Traffic Light Protocol for classifying them, see also here.

We publish the videos afterwards in batches, UNLESS you have strong reasons (legality, risk of loosing your work, there is client names mentioned, you work for a secret or intelligence service and cannot be recognized). Please consider asking for a TLP:RED talk only when above conditions apply.
